Al-Watan Shooting & Equestrian Club

Harmonious design for horse and landscape — an exceptional equine and sporting environment.

Location Benghazi, Libya
Category Sports & Leisure
Primary Scope Master Plan, Architecture, Civil Works & Landscaping

Project Overview

Integrated equestrian architecture engineered for separated equine, spectator, and service circulation.

A comprehensive equestrian and shooting complex that integrates professional training, horse care, international competition, and visitor amenities inside a single coherent master plan.

The development brings together riding tracks, 4 internal air-conditioned stables, 18 external ventilated stables, saddling areas, veterinary and clinic facilities, VIP and public viewing grandstands, cafes, fine dining, a competition shooting range, and supporting infrastructure.

Circulation was the primary organising principle. Equine transit routes, spectator walkways, and logistical service arteries are strictly isolated from end to end, ensuring seamless operations on tournament and training days alike. The grandstand, clubhouse, and stables share a cohesive material language of stone, render, and dark tile.
